Stone crusher dust, which is available abundantly from crusher units at a low cost in many areas, provides a viable alternative for river sand in concrete. Investigations indicate that stone crusher dust has a good potential as fine aggregate in concrete construction. Tests on the strengths of concrete, and on the flexural behaviour of RC beams under two-point loading were conducted.
concrete proportion a study carried to find out effective use of sandstone waste and quarry dust in concrete. The experimental study to investigate the fresh and hardened properties of M20 grade of concrete with W/C is kept 0.55. The sandstones might be utilised as a partial replacement of coarse aggregates with 0%, 10%, 20%, 30%, 40%, and 50%.
The test results indicate that stone dust can be effectively used in partial replacement of fine aggregate in concrete. It is found that the compressive and flexural strengths of concrete increase on use of stone dust. The replacement level of the fine aggregate (30, 40, 50, 60 and 70%) by stone dust was investigated.
In the present investigation, an experimental program was carried out to study the workability and compressive strength of concrete made using stone dust as partial replacement of fine aggregate
1. Sarvesh P.S.Rajput (2018). Conducted study about Crushed Stone Dust as Fine Aggregate in Cement Concrete. the nominal mixes were prepared for grades M-20 and M-30 of cement concrete as per Indian Standards codes using natural sand (NS) and replacement of NS sand to crushed stone dust (CSD) in different proportions. In each case
